Airconditioner Technician

Introduction

Large, well established airconditioner wholesaler and exporter is looking to employ an Airconditioner Technician.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Technical support
• Commissioning of VRF Systems
• Fault finding on RAC, CAC, VRF, AHU and RTU Systems
• Site visits for installations
• General technical reports
• Carrying out repairs on air-conditioning equipment
• Providing support after working hours, if necessary, in situations likes emergencies, workshop, commission meetings, and other company functions
• Willing to travel
• Perform related duties that may be assigned

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications

• Matric
• Must have at least 3 – 5 years of relevant experience (Airconditioning)
• Valid driver’s license

Experience

• Experience in repairs and installations of Air conditioners
• Good understanding of a VRF system
• Commissioning Experience needed
• Must be Computer literate – MS Office to do reporting
• Good understanding of the OHS Act & knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Safe handling of refrigeration
• Understanding of electrical & part testing (Advantageous)
• Refrigeration qualification with Trade Test (Advantageous)
• Gas handling license (Advantageous)
• STRONG FAULT FINDING SKILLS ESSENTIAL
