Introduction
Our client, a pharmaceutical and medical device wholesaler and distributor which supplies healthcare goods and services to both public and private healthcare nationally, is looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join their successful team.
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful incumbent will be required/ be responsible for:

- All duties & responsibilities of a “pharmacist” as required by the council
- Receipt and control of schedule 6 stock
- Maintain schedule 6 register/scripts
- Control of daily temperatures of the warehouse
- Check of expiry date of stock/stock rotation
- Investigate any drug stock discrepancies
- Maintain pre-agreed stock levels
- Review stock levels weekly and monthly
- Formulate orders for suppliers & liaise with buying department
- Maintain batch numbers and expiry dates on stock system
- Maintenance and updating of sop’s
- Oversee any return of scheduled goods
- Oversee quarantine requirements of oncology stock
- Oversee destruction of expired drugs
- Oversee batch recalls
- Regular self-inspections of schedule drug warehouse/pharmacy & oncology
- Cycle/random stock counts
- Mixing of Oncology Medication when needed
Desired Experience & Qualification
- B.Pharm Degree
- Registered at SAPC
- Fully Computer Literate
