Introduction

South Africa’s premier supplier of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Cleaning Chemicals, Paper Products, Industrial Consumable Supplies and Workwear is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join their successful team in Gqeberha.

Scope:

Implement and monitor sales growth strategies within assigned territory to ensure effectiveness of the sales force in achievement of sales targets, growth, and profitability of key accounts.

Drive and monitor strong customer relationships, understanding of customer trends and ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities

Monitor and assist sales staff in the achievement of their sales and growth targets.
Ensure achievement of GP margin
Increased turnover of existing Customers
Increased turnover from new business
Increased turnover from new product sales
Ensure new business is targeted, dormant accounts reactivated and increased product sales to existing customers
Manage the frequency and cost effectiveness of the call cycles of sales representatives
Manage a structured sales process to ensure quality of calling
Tracking of the usage of the tools provided to Sales Reps in training
Tracking of segmentation of high priority and low priority customers
Build trust and confidence of Customers in the Company, through reliable and consistent service
Increase usage of the Company Online/App
Resolve complaints and queries effectively
Monitor turnaround of Customer’s factory lead times and expectations where required
Determine and manage the Customer’s expectations regarding stock and delivery
Ensure sales staff adhere to planned visits and understand the needs and objectives of all customers.
Establish and build Customer relationships and take personal ownership of resolving complaints.
Maintain effective leave planning and absenteeism management
Facilitate training and development interventions
Review performance in discussion with employees, agree ratings and set goals for new period.
Continuously communicate and provide constructive feedback and coaching to employees
Take disciplinary action where required.
Develop expert product knowledge in the Company range

Desired Experience & Qualification

Grade 12
Post matric qualification preferably in Sales/Marketing
5 years’ experience in a Sales Manager role (PPE, Cleaning and Paper experience is advantageous)
OWN CAR ESSENTIAL
